Textile work combining Gel Plate Monotype, India Ink and Hand Distressed Finishing. Featuring mirrored repetitions of Parmigianino’s Cupid Carving His Bow alongside the names of Parmigianino and Eugenio Cajés. Drawing on the history of an image repeatedly copied and reinterpreted across time, the composition approaches the copy as a form of continuity rather than imitation, bringing together repetition, authorship and reinterpretation. Built through successive chemical aging processes and manual interventions, the surface continues to evolve through wear and washing.
