DESCRIPTION

Work on cardboard combining Acrylic and Transferred Printed Matter. Featuring a phrase from Robert Mapplethorpe's letter to Patti Smith after watching Midnight Cowboy, alongside photographs taken while revisiting the same film. Drawing on the transmission of cultural references across time, the composition brings together cinema, memory and personal experience. Built through layered transfer and acrylic, the composition brings together typography, image and surface.
