Textile work combining Gel Plate Monotype, India Ink, Textile Paint and Hand Distressed Finishing. Featuring a verse from London After Midnight’s Sacrifice alongside two symbols of self-sacrifice: the pelican feeding its young with its own blood and the cross. Drawing on the relationship between love, devotion and sacrifice, the composition brings together musical expression and religious iconography, exploring sacrifice as an act of giving oneself for another. Built through gel plate transfers, chemical aging processes and hand-painted interventions, the surface continues to evolve through wear and washing.
