DESCRIPTION

Work on wood combining Acrylic, Ink and Transferred Printed Matter. Featuring the historical Schildkröte (“tortoise”) text alongside three repeated headless self-portraits. Drawing on themes of withdrawal and repetition, the composition brings together routine, absence and the gradual dissolution of identity. Built through layered transfer, acrylic and ink, the composition brings together typography, image and surface.
