DESCRIPTION

Work on tissue paper and paper combining Acrylic and Transferred Printed Matter. Featuring Nietzsche's reflection from The Antichrist — "Die Verderbnis der Seelen durch Schuld, Strafe und Unsterblichkeit" — alongside the Greek words ζωή, ἀλήθεια and φῶς, and two photographs of flowers. Drawing on the tension between Nietzsche's critique of Christian morality and the symbolic language of life, truth and light, the composition brings together image, language and renewal. Built through layered transfer and acrylic, the composition brings together typography, image and surface.
